The Portland Police Bureau released the name of a woman who was hit and killed by a driver in East Portland in September. After the crash, the driver fled the scene and has not been found, police said.

The driver hit Cameron Anne Barton, 37, of Portland, about 10 p.m. Sept. 27 on East Burnside at Northeast 113th Avenue in the Hazelwood neighborhood, according to police.

Detectives found two cars “that may be involved in this incident,” the Police Bureau said in a statement Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing, police said, and they are asking anyone with information about the case to email [email protected].
