Neighborhood complaints lead Bryan police to make eight arrests on drug charges – WTAW

Neighborhood complaints to Bryan police lead to undercover officers being deployed to buy cocaine and crack and observe illegal drug sales.

Arrest reports released last weekend about what happened in August and September landed six men and two women in jail.

BPD arrest reports say the drug purchases were made from six street-level dealers at various locations. And undercover surveillance also turned up illegal sales of hydrocodone and PCP.

Curtis James Hall, 75, of Bryan was charged with four counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Those incidents occurred on Nov. 1, Sept. 7, in October 2023 and July 2022. Hall was also charged with possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 1 and misdemeanor possession of marijuana in October 2023. Hall, who entered the jail for the 27th time since January 1990, he was released after posting bonds totaling $137,000.

Christopher Leon Hill, 51, of Bryan was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance on Aug. 13 and 14, possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 1, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and public intoxication on Oct. 25. Online records show Hill has been in the Brazos County Jail for the 65th time since November 2001. He has been held since Nov. 5 in lieu of bonds totaling $55,000.

Quentin McMiller, 37, of Bryan, was booked into the jail on a charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance that occurred Nov. 1. McMiller, who has been jailed for the 25th time since April 2005, remains in custody as of Nov. 5 in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Preston Wiggins IV of Bryan, 26, was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana that occurred Sept. 5. Online jail records also show bail has been lifted in five pending felony cases that occurred in 2023 … four on drug charges and one on evading arrest. Wiggins, who has been jailed for the 20th time since October 2016, has been held since Nov. 5 in lieu of bonds totaling $75,000.

Bobby Perry II of Bryan, 33, was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana during the Nov. 1 search of the home Perry shared with McMiller. Perry, who went to jail for the 19th time since July 2010, was released after posting bonds totaling $21,000.

Rolando Taylor, 46, of Bryan was charged with undercover sale of crack cocaine in August. When he was arrested Nov. 1, he was additionally charged with manufacturing/delivering crack cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and unlawfully carrying a weapon inside a bar. Taylor was released from jail after posting bonds totaling $55,000.

Twanda Mosley, 56, of Bryan was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone on August 7th and 9th and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance on August 13th and September 5th. She remains jailed as of Nov. 5 in lieu of a total of $40,000 bond.

Anteria Jackson, 28, of Bryan was charged with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence Sept. 18 and warrants related to DWI and another count of tampering with evidence. Jackson, who has been jailed for the 14th time since February 2014, has been held since Nov. 5 in lieu of bonds totaling $48,000. Bond was denied a motion to revoke probation for an evidence-tampering conviction that occurred in March 2021.
