Harris proclaims joy, but Trump looks like he’s enjoying himself

While Vice President Kamala Harris says she’s embracing the politics of joy, former President Donald Trump seems to be the one having the fun ahead of Election Day. Known for rallying to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” and the Village People’s “YMCA” dance, the former president has had audiences laughing at rallies from Arizona to Virginia over the past week. Although hounded by the corporate media and leftists in the justice system, Trump seems to be having more fun than ever.

Final polling averages suggest Trump has the lead — and the momentum — ahead of Election Day. Clear real survey has Trump ahead of Harris by 0.1 percent in national polls and growing in enough swing states to surpass the 270 electoral college votes needed to win the presidency.

There were no surprises in October that would alter the election — no Hunter Biden laptop, no missing emails. If there was, however, it was President Joe Biden calls Trump supporters trash.

“Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a ‘floating garbage island.’ Well, let me tell you something,” the president said during a virtual event, “the only trash I see floating around out there is his supporters.”

The comments outraged Trump supporters, just as Hillary Clinton’s comment did in 2016, calling them “deplorable”. Following Biden’s comments, the former president held a news conference from the cab of a garbage truck with full campaign branding on the side.

The former president even held a rally wearing a sanitation worker’s high-visibility vest after the stunt.

Leftist media outlets have followed Trump since his first run in 2016.

Media Research Center released findings on October 28 that showed media coverage of Trump was 85 percent negative compared to 78 percent positive coverage of Harris on the ABC, CBS, and NBC evening newscasts for the 2024 presidential race. Media Research Center analysts analyzed 660 articles about the presidential election on news channels from July 21, the day Biden ended his candidacy, to October 25.

In the 2016 presidential race, both Trump and Clinton received large amounts of negative coverage, with 91% negative for Trump and 79% negative for Clinton. In coverage of the 2020 race, Trump received 92% negative coverage and Biden received 66% positive coverage.

However, media bias it didn’t stop Trump from expanding his support.

Trump, with a bold alternative media strategybrought together a motley crew of voices from across the political spectrum, such as former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.entrepreneur Elon Musk and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, R-Hawaii.

During a recent interview on Fox NewsGabbard said she asks people in the audience to raise their hands if they are Democrats or former Democrats whenever she speaks at a Trump event.

“In almost every event, somewhere between 35-50 percent of the room will raise their hand,” she said in the Oct. 29 interview on Fox & Friends Weekend.

What pleased Gabbard even more was the reaction of Trump supporters to those whose hands were raised. Trump supporters “stood up and cheered and saluted (Democrats and former Democrats) and surrounded them, really, with love and kindness.”

Gabbard said many people shared their experiences with her after the event.

“I had so many people come up to me at the end of that talk, ‘I came in here scared. I’ve never been to a political rally before. I didn’t know what to expect. I’m a democrat, a lifelong democrat, I’ve never voted.” Different versions of it, but each one comes out saying, ‘I’m voting for Donald Trump because of what I experienced here today,'” Gabbard said.

American voters may have come to Trump’s rallies for fun, but Trump needs them to stay until Election Day to win.
