JANESVILLE, Wis. (WIFR) – A 49-year-old man is being sentenced after being found guilty of dealing drugs to a man who later overdosed and died.

David Steptoe was found guilty of first degree reckless homicide by drug delivery and possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver.

Steptoe sold drugs to several people, including fentanyl to a 41-year-old man, which led to his overdose and death. Steptoe also had cocaine and fentanyl with him when he was arrested.

Judge Derrick Grubb sentenced Steptoe to 32 years in the Wisconsin state prison system; 22 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.
