GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – A Grand Island man is facing sex crime charges after police arrested him for allegedly assaulting his children.

Local4 is not naming the suspect to protect the identity of the victims in this case.

The 40-year-old man is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault on a child, two counts of third-degree sexual assault on a child and two counts of incest.

According to the arrest affidavit, the man’s youngest child, a six-year-old girl, reported to a hotline that her father touched her private areas while she was undressed.

Grand Island police then interviewed her along with her two other sisters, ages 11 and 16.

The GIPD arrested the man, who later admitted to police that he sexually assaulted all four of his biological children, including a teenage son, according to court records.

Police said these incidents allegedly took place between January 2018 and June 2024.

His arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
