CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said an investigation is underway at the Campbell County Jail.

The TBI said agents responded to the jail for a reported death Sunday morning.

On Monday, the TBI released the name of the inmate who died Sunday: 52-year-old Mark Garner.

Garner’s body has been sent for an autopsy, the TBI said. The agency did not release a cause of death at the time.

This marks the fourth death at the Campbell County Jail that the TBI has been asked to investigate since April.
