Trump leads Harris by 2% in North Carolina ahead of Election Day, poll shows

A new poll found former President Trump leading Vice President Harris 50 percent to 48 percent in the battleground state of North Carolina.

The East Carolina University Survey of 1,250 registered voters was conducted October 24-29 and has a margin of error of 3%.

“Both Trump and the Harris campaigns invested significant resources in North Carolina to win his 16 Electoral College votes,” Peter Francia, director of ECU’s Center for Polling Research, said in a statement.

“The reason is clear: North Carolina is still too close to call, and its electoral votes could be critical in deciding the winner of the presidential election,” he added.
