What will Diddy eat on his birthday in prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs turns 55 on Monday, November 4, while in prison after being arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The disgraced music mogul is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial after pleading not guilty but denied bail.

On his birthday, Combs will have access to fruit, oatmeal, whole-wheat bread, crackers, “baked brownies” and spreads like jelly and margarine for breakfast, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ national menu. Every day at breakfast, which starts at 6 a.m., inmates can have “breakfast cake,” but that’s not specific to Combs’ birthday.

Coffee is only served on weekends, and options like pancakes or toast with syrup are available on Wednesdays and Fridays, respectively.

Lunch is served at 11:00. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ national menu, Monday’s main lunch may include Southwest chicken wraps, chicken tacos, cheese pizza or three-bean chili. Inmates also have access to several sides with their main meal, such as green beans, rice, salsa or coleslaw. Lunch comes with fruit every day and dessert some days, but Monday is not one of them.

Dinner is served on a headcount basis from 4pm at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Monday dinner menus include roast turkey, rice, green peas, gravy, whole wheat bread and drink, and fried rice with chicken or tofu, black beans, carrots, whole wheat bread and drink. Dessert is not served at dinner.

If Combs has funds in his commissary account, then he has access to purchase products such as Nutella, Snickers, macaroni and cheese, and hot chocolate.

On Oct. 10, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said food options are one of the most difficult parts of his life behind bars.

“I think the food is probably the roughest part of it,” Agnifilo told reporters outside a Manhattan federal court after a status conference. Combs’ sex-offense trial date was set for May 5, 2025.
