The Indiana DNR is seeking help planning the future of Indiana’s state parks through public participation in the survey

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking public participation in a survey that will be used to help plan the future of Indiana’s state parks.

The Indiana DNR says the survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete and focuses on current Indiana State Park use and management while asking how Indiana State Park facilities, resources and services should be used in the future .

“Indiana’s state parks belong to all of us as Hoosiers,” says Ginger Murphy, assistant director of Indiana State Parks. “We continue to look to the future and want ideas and thoughts from Hoosiers. We really appreciate everyone taking the time to complete the survey.”

Survey participants will be eligible for drawings for camping gift cards, inn gift cards and 2025 annual passes.

Indiana State Parks manages 36 properties, including 24 state parks, eight state reservoirs, two state forest recreation areas, and two state off-road recreation areas.
