BUSCO BEACH, NC (WITN) – One person died overnight in an ATV accident at Busco Beach and ATV Park, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

According to officials, Wayne County 911 received a call involving an ATV accident around midnight. Officials say it was a rollover accident that killed one person.

Officials say Mar Mac Fire, Wayne County EMS, Sheriff and Highway Patrol responded.

Busco Beach has seen several fatal accidents, including ATV and drowning deaths over the years.
