Left-wing firm linked to voter registration ‘scheme’ goes dark and then disappears

Media and consulting firms tied to fraudulent voter registration forms in Pennsylvania earlier this week have gone dark since Saturday.

Field and Media Corps — whose website and social media accounts are now defunct — is an Arizona company that contracts with Everybody Votes to run a canvassing operation in Pennsylvania and other states targeting minority residents with low income not registered to vote.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Wednesday that 30 registration forms contained fraudulent information, including an application filed on behalf of a deceased resident.

Everybody Votes operates an office in Lancaster County, where poll workers recently found suspicious registration forms in a batch of 2,500 applications delivered last week. Investigators there said at least 60 percent of those examined were fraudulent. So far, the campaign has not been directly linked to the investigation.

Not so in nearby York County, where law enforcement continues to examine another delivery from the operation that led up to the Oct. 22 filing deadline.

Wednesday, America First Policy Institutea conservative-leaning nonprofit research organization, called for a federal investigation into the company.

“Where there’s fire, there’s fire,” said Hogan Gidley, vice president of the institute’s Center for Election Integrity. “Thousands of reported cases of voter registration fraud have now been confirmed across Pennsylvania.”

He described the Field and Media Corps, established in 2017, as a “high-powered left-wing organization” that could have launched similar “schemes” across the country that warrant statewide investigations.

“Filing fraudulent registrations right at the voter deadline to overwhelm election officials is exactly the type of scheme the Justice Department should be using its force and resources to stop,” he said.

There is also evidence that Everybody Votes is linked to a super-left political action committee intent on expanding Democratic registration numbers in battleground states.

Of note, the Democratic Party’s registration advantage in Pennsylvania has declined significantly over the past four years.

According to public tax records shared with The Center Square, the Voter Registration Project, also known as Everybody Votes, describes itself as a public charity that helps low-income minority citizens register to vote and provides technical assistance for the actions voter registration.

The organization reported total revenue of $45.8 million in 2022, “a substantial portion of which comes from a government entity or the general public.”

A 2023 report from the Capital Research Centera conservative nonprofit, says left-leaning donors have raised a combined $190 million for the campaign to register 5.1 million voters across the country — all in violation of federal law that prohibits 501(c)(3) donors from getting involved in such an activity.

strategy, detailed in a leaked 2019 memo from Mind the Gap, the liberal super PAC in questionluring investors by promising a more cost-effective strategy to increase the number of votes for Democrats – namely through voter registration drives.

The group pointed to its direct role in changing America’s blue house in 2018 as a “proof of concept.”

Further detailed in the report are signed tax forms from donors linking their grants to the Voter Registration Project in direct support of Mind the Gap. The Capital Research Center estimates that President Joe Biden won between 1 million and 2.7 million state votes in the 2020 election.

Biden beat incumbent Donald Trump 306-232 in the Electoral College vote; the popular vote was Biden 81.2 million to 74.2 million.

Francisco Heredia, who heads the Field and Media Corps, Votebeat said earlier this week he had not heard from county officials in Pennsylvania, but would cooperate with the investigation. He said the company trains workers how to fill out registration forms legally and has zero tolerance for fraud.
