Man arrested in Loveland woman’s slaying

LOVELAND, Colo. — Loveland police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of first-degree murder at a home where the victim was found on the floor Friday night.

Michael Fuller was arrested after police, responding to a welfare check, arrived at a home in the 3700 block of Foothills Drive around 7 p.m.

A woman called police earlier, worried she couldn’t get a hold of her mother and worried something had happened to her, according to the Loveland Police Department.

Police said as officers tried to get Fuller to come out of the home, they noticed a woman on the floor inside the home.

Officers quickly moved in, arrested Fuller and confirmed the woman was deceased, police said in a news release.

Police have not released how the victim died or her identity. The relationship between the victim and the suspect is unknown.

In addition to the first-degree murder count, Fuller faces charges of tampering with physical evidence and violating a protective order.
