MPUMALANGA – A parent in eMbalenhle is no longer sure what to do, trying to understand why a school principal took away her son’s books.

Mother of a ninth grade student at Ikusasalethu Secondary School School she is worried that her son might fail this year’s exams.

The mother claims the principal took her son’s book in August and south africans I wonder what the student did to deserve this.

Learned punished for ships

The mother explained that before her son’s books were taken away, he was punished for vaping in class.

“My child’s punishment was to clean the school. I was fine with my son being disciplined for what he had done wrong,” she said.

Mom can’t get answers

She added that a week later, her son returned without his books, saying the principal had taken them.

“I went to the school several times to find out what was going on, but the principal was never available.

“I ended up asking to speak to the assistant principal, but was told she didn’t want to be involved in the matter,” she explained.

She asked how her son was supposed to attend the lessons and why the school did not contact her even though they had her number.

South Africans wonder what the student did

Some social media users sympathize with the parents’ frustration, but others believe the principal would not have done this without a reason.

“So my question is, what did the kid do? Because no director would wake up and decide to take the books.”

“Is that even allowed? How is the child supposed to study for exams if he doesn’t have the books with him?”

Parents remove the principal from office

News in brief also reported a story about a female principal being kicked out of the office by her parents.

In a video, angry parents could be seen pulling a directory out of her desk at school.

At one stage in the video, the woman can be seen falling from the chair in which she is being carried.
