WEST MICHIGAN — FOX 17 Meteorologist Reece Cole’s Forecast: We started November on a cloudy and cold note! Another night with a widespread dip below freezing leads to an afternoon in the upper 50s with lots of sunshine! Saturday is the better of the two weekend days to be outside as clouds fill in ahead of the next chance of rain late Sunday. A much-needed stretch of rain arrives Sunday afternoon into next Tuesday. It looks like we will see over an inch of rain widespread across western Michigan, which will affect the drought that has developed over the past 2 months. TODAY: Mostly sunny and a bit warmer with highs in the upper 50s.

SIT DOWN: Clear skies early with clouds forming after midnight. Drops from the mid to late 30s.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers developing in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s.

MONDAY: Cloudy with a chance of rain. A bit warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

TUESDAY: Cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs near 60 degrees.
