A 16-year-old boy has died after a bike stunt went wrong on the roads of Mumbaiit is Mira-Bhayandar. The incident took place on Monday, October 28, and was caught on CCTV cameras from a nearby shop, which is now circulating on social media.

The victim, a resident of Mira Road, was cycling to Ghodbunder Fort on Monday. While descending the steep slope of the fort, he seemed to lose control, collided with a wall and fell to the ground.

CCTV footage, which has since gone viral, shows the boy bleeding on the spot as bystanders rushed to assist, taking him to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Government Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The police registered the incident as an accidental death.

In another incident, two girls were seriously injured after they were hit by a speeding car while they were making rangolis outside their houses before Diwali festival in Indore’s Bhawani Nagar, The Times of India he reported on Wednesday, citing police sources.

The accident, which happened on Monday night, was captured on CCTV, showing a black hatchback hitting the victims, Priyanshi (21) and Nivya (14). Both girls were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, and officials confirmed that the 17-year-old driver was taken into custody.

CCTV footage shows the girls making rangolis when the speeding car approaches from behind, crashes into them and then heads towards a shop. Several parked two-wheelers were also damaged during the incident.

In a separate incident in September, a 19-year-old man was killed and three of his friends were injured after their car collided with a truck on a flyover near Chandimandir toll plaza in Chandigarh.

The deceased has been identified as Ansh Nagpal, while 17-year-old Rehan was critically injured and initially taken to PGIMER, Chandigarh, before being shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali. The other two, Saksham, 18, and Sanyam, 20, remain unconscious and are receiving treatment at the Civil Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula. Police said the group was driving late, heading from Sector 4, Panchkula, towards Pinjore. Around 3 am, their speeding car crashed into a truck in front of them on the flyover near the Chandimandir toll.

Passersby at the scene quickly helped extract the occupants from the damaged car and transported them to the hospital.
