Lorraine, TX (FOX 44) – An 18-year-old Lorena High School student was arrested and transported to the McLennan County Jail after a THC vaping device was recovered on campus.

David Angel Sanchez was booked into the jail on a third-degree felony charge of possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

An arrest affidavit said Lorena police were called to the high school by an assistant principal regarding the location of a possible THC vaping device in the possession of a student. The officer arrived and was shown a small black vapor device that contained an amber-colored, wax-like substance that tested positive for THC.
