Latest Rams WR News

Puka Nacua’s knee has been troublesome this season, causing him to miss part of training camp and then five weeks of the regular season after aggravating the injury in Week 1. It came back in week 8 but then left practice early Thursday after injuring the same knee that has troubled him this season.

Initial reports said Nacua’s knee injury is not believed to be serious and Sean McVay confirmed the news during his press conference on Friday. He provided an update on the Rams wide receiver before Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, sharing the latest on the second-year player.

Puka Nacua injury update

McVay said Friday that Nacua “just hit his knee a little bit,” but there’s no structural damage, which is great news for him and the Rams. Nacua will be listed as questionable to play against the Seahawks, and McVay “wouldn’t bet against” him playing in Seattle.

How long will Puka Nacua be out?

It’s unclear if Nacua will be out for any length of time with this knee injury, especially with McVay saying he has a chance to play this weekend against the Seahawks.

Rams WR depth chart

Starter Backup
WR1 Cooper Kupp Tutu Atwell
WR2 Puka Nacua Tyler Johnson
WR3 Demarcus Robinson Jordan Whittington

If Nacua is unable to play against the Seahawks and is out for any length of time, Tutu Atwell and Tyler Johnson would be the next players behind Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson. Jordan Whittington could also contribute, but his status is uncertain for Sunday as well.
