DENVER (KDVR) — It was a warm and dry October and it could be one for the record books.

October 23rd continued that theme with highs in the 70s and sunshine instead of any rain.

So far, Denver has only accumulated 0.11 inches of precipitation for the month. This rain was spread over two days, with 0.09 inches of rain at Denver International Airport on October 18th and 0.02 inches of rain on October 21st.

By this time, Denver typically has closer to 0.78 inches of precipitation and is approaching the 0.99 inches of rain that is typical for the entire month of October.

Dry weather is forecast until the weekend and early next week. However, the Pinpoint Weather Team is tracking a cold front that will drop temperatures and bring back a chance of much-needed moisture to the area.
