Store manager Adeep Sharma says it’s been a busy time.

“Sales have been good. We received several pre-orders before last year. This was great. A lot of pre-orders have come in and a lot of working customers are actually coming in”

With many customers selecting the value packs not only to share with family and friends in Fiji, but also to send goodies to loved ones living abroad.

Sharma says rising prices of ingredients have only fueled the rush for orders during this particular period.

Excitingly, sweet shops are introducing innovative flavors like mocha barfi, adding a contemporary twist to age-old traditions.

As the eve of Diwali unfolds, these vibrant shops full of laughter and joy capture the essence of the celebration, making every bite a cherished memory in the making.
