CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police say shots were fired at Norfolk Southern police Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened near 45th Street and Stewart Avenue in Fuller Park around 6:15 a.m.

The railroad police were on patrol inside the unmarked squad cars when shots were fired in their direction, Chicago police said.

No one was injured during the shooting.

The suspects got into two vehicles and left in an unknown direction.

No one is in custody and area detectives are investigating.
