India welcomes its foreign guests with much fervor and celebration, but two dignitaries from England paid a clandestine visit to the country. King Charles and Camilla came to Bengaluru earlier this month for four days to stretch their legs and rejuvenate after their trip to Samoa.

The two avoided public appearances during this visit and spent four days at a health center called Soukya, located on the outskirts of India’s IT city.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, it is not the first time that King Charles and Camilla have visited the institution. They have visited the health center at least eight times in the past decade.

King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, is said to have promoted alternative medicine and therapies, including yoga, homeopathy and Ayurveda.

The British monarch took over the reins following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. Shortly after discovering that she was suffering from cancer, which was believed to hinder her ability to fulfill her duties. King Charles recently returned from a trip to New Zealand and Samoa. Conformable Verandahe is ready for further visits abroad, despite his health. The report said he enjoyed the two trips and that they “raised his spirits”.
