Michelle Obama stops Harris’ campaign speech to help an audience member

Michelle Obama stopped a Harris-Walz campaign speech to call attention to a person in the crowd who appeared to have passed out.

She was addressing a crowd in Atlanta, Georgia, when she noticed a commotion in the audience.

“We need water, right here,” she told the aides on stage.

“It’s hard standing that long, you’re all probably dehydrated,” she continued as security helped lift the women to the front and over the front barrier to safety.

The former first lady refused to continue with her speech until volunteers returned and picked up the person’s shoes.

“She’s going to need her shoes,” she joked to cheers from the crowd.
