Dax Shepard can’t deny his wife’s chemistry, Kristen Bellhas with her Nobody wants that costar Adam Brody.

“We watched that scene together, the kiss scene, which I would say is the best kiss scene ever filmed,” Shepard, 49, said at the New Yorker Festival via People Saturday, October 26. “And my childhood best friend Aaron says, ‘Does he ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know he could kiss like that.”

Asked about his own chemistry with his wife of nearly 11 years, Shepard playfully admitted that he has some competition.

“Not as good as her and Brody,” he joked.

Nobody wants that follows a sexually agnostic podcaster (Bell) and a newly single rabbi (Brody) as they fall in love. Their bond is tested, however, as they tackle blended families and very different lives.

When the show’s first season premiered on Netflix in September, Bell, 44, discussed chemistry he shared with Brody, also 44.

“Even I can admit to watching it, like, ‘Wow, that’s cool,'” she said e-talk before the premiere. “My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode, she said, “Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so bad.”

After being an actress for many years, Bell — who shares daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9, with Shepard — shared her theory about how some Hollywood co-stars can simply click when the cameras start rolling.

“I’m not trying to be reductive, but I think there’s a math,” she said. “You have two actors who know how to stare into each other’s eyes, and you have to have the confidence to extend that and really place the anticipatory value before the kiss, which I think is really important.”

As fans are waiting for anything hints about season 2which was confirmed by Netflix on October 10, the creator of the series Erin Foster hopes this isn’t the last time viewers will see Bell and Brody’s innocent connection on screen.

After all, she knows that audiences want to see more of this unconventional love story.

“They just have unreal chemistry,” she said TV line in September about Brody and Bell. “It’s crazy because they’re friends in real life. They don’t have that chemistry off camera. There’s no sexual tension on set, and then the camera goes off, and it’s like, “Holy f—! It’s really there.”
