Police are investigating weekend shootings that left a central Lincoln home damaged

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left a central Lincoln home damaged.

Saturday, officers responded to shots fired in the area near 25th and Dudley streets just before 9:45 p.m.

During the investigation, officers discovered that a nearby home had been hit by three bullets. One hit the brick in front of the house, one hit the mailbox and another hit the front door and an interior wall, LPD said. A spent casing was placed in the street.

According to LPD, a 2000s or similar Chrysler Pacifica was seen speeding in the area.

No one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.
