Packers QB exits game against Jaguars

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love he left his team 30-27 win fish Jacksonville Jaguars with a groin injury in the third trimester. He did not return to the game.

The packers quarterback came up limping after throwing a pass in the third quarter. It’s unclear when the injury occurred, as Love was reportedly dealing with an injury throughout the game.

Love missed two games earlier this season with a sprained MCL. The leg Love appears to be limping on is the same leg he injured earlier this season.

Malik Willis entered the relief of Love. Willis, who helped guide the Packers to wins in both games Love sat in, led a drive for the game-winning field goal by Brandon McManus in the final seconds.

The Packers originally listed Love as “doubtful” to return with a groin injury, but did not return to the game.

Love seemed to be dealing with the injury throughout the game. It is unclear when he was injured in the match.

While there has been some speculation that Love has re-aggravated the sprained left MCL he suffered earlier this season, the Packers did not list the ailment in their update.

Monday, October 28, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated that Love suffered a groin strain and will be monitored throughout the week. The Packers quarterback is considered day-to-day.

The The Packers play the Detroit Lions in Week 9 in a massive NFC North clash.
