Social media critic Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan has filed a petition against Alex Ikwechegh, a member of the Federal House of Representatives.

This came after an online video captured the Abia MP threatening to beat up the taxi driver and locking him in his generator house.

The representative also slapped the driver during the altercation and threatened to make him disappear.

The petition filed by Verydarkman alleges serious offenses against the lawmaker, including abuse of power, assault, attempted murder and threat to life.

The petition was signed by lawyer and activist VeryDarkMan, Deji Adeyanju.

The federal lawmaker was seen attacking a Bolt driver, Mr. Stephen Abuwatseya, in a recorded video that has now gone viral.
