The Israeli enemy struck Beirut at dawn on Saturday, killing or injuring dozens of people in a massive raid in which bunker bombs were dropped on a residential area of ​​the Lebanese capital.

Correspondent Al-Manar said the strike killed or injured dozens of citizens in the Al-Basta area, noting that two 8-story buildings were totally destroyed in the attack.

The impact left three craters, at least 8 meters each, and massive damage to nearby buildings, our correspondent said.

Local media reported that at least 4 bunker busting bombs were used in the attack, which was felt in areas near Beirut, reaching the southern city of Sidon.

Earlier, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburb Dahiyeh, whose neighborhood has been subjected to massive destruction since Israel’s aggression against Lebanon began in September 2024.

The strikes hit the Beer Al-Abed residential areas of Haret Hreik, Chiah and Ghobeiry on Friday evening.

In the latest update, issued on Friday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of martyrs had reached 3,645 and that the number of wounded had exceeded 15,350 since September 23.
