NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Emergency crews took a 15-year-old girl to the hospital after police said she was the victim of a shooting in northwest Miami-Dade.

Miami-Dade police and fire departments responded to the scene at the McDonald’s at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 95th Street around 10:15 p.m. Friday.

Investigators said the teenager was injured in the shoulder while at the fast food restaurant.

Paramedics took the victim to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Detectives are questioning a person. They believe the shooting was accidental.
